TCFL Student Leadership Council

We had an abundance of incredible applicants for our inaugural TCFL Student Leadership Council! 30 students applied from almost all of our league schools, and with so many applicants, it was a difficult decision to narrow the field to 7 members that we would appoint. Each applicant provided unique perspectives and insight into what they want our league to look like. Choosing members was especially difficult given our stated objective of appointing no more than one person from any school, as there were several schools who had multiple applicants who impressed us.

Ultimately, the TCFL Executive Board chose to appoint the following individuals to our 2024-2025 TCFL Student Leadership Council:

Brystian Heine-Van Fossen (Oak Park HS)

Savanna Kimball (Granada Hills Charter HS)

Andie Martin (Taft Charter HS)

Brynn Termeer (Arroyo Grande HS)

Thank you all again for encouraging your students to apply! We are very excited to see what our SLC comes up with, as we are tasking them with reviewing our TCFL Workshop to see how we might be able to boost attendance and value for attendees. We'll keep you posted as we know more!
