TCFL Leadership

Officers Duties

(These duties are interchangeable between officers)

President

• Administering tournaments (Paneling & Running Tab Room)

• Organizing league meetings

• Insures website is updated

• Represents League at the state meeting

• Certifies IE scripts for state qualifier

• Updates all handouts and ballots as necessary

• Maintains communication with CHSSA

• Insures fairness and transparency

• Mentors new coaches

• Conflict mediator

• Verifies student eligibility

Vice-President

• Responsible for ordering, collecting, and delivering trophies

• Must be available for paneling and tabbing

• Organizes script committees

• Must be available for reading of IE scripts for the state qualifier

Secretary

• Insures certificate distribution

• Keeps minutes at league meetings

• In charge of ballot collection during tournaments

• Must be available for paneling and IE script reading for the state qualifier

Treasurer

• Collecting and allocating funds for league expenses.

• Assigning judges

• Must be available for paneling and IE script reading for the state qualifier

Sergeant at Arms

Elections

Any coach wishing to run for an Office must notify the President by the end of February.  Elections for the Office will be held after the state tournament and the new Officers will preside the following year.
